A guide and information resource to activities that assist in providing increased assurance of a pipeline system's integrity. It covers design and construction considerations; system monitoring and controls; corrosion controls; inspection reviews and audits; and damage prevention. Its purpose is twofold: to compile a wide base of current industry experience, knowledge, information, and management practices into a cohesive document comprising a range of best practices, and to assist pipeline operators in assuring the integrity of their pipeline systems.
